  Chairman and CEO, Arthur Lee, founded the parent company Kolinker Industrial Equipments Ltd. in 1983. The strategic focus was on the development and production of quartz crystal equipment. In 1989, the group diversified into the manufacture and trading of quartz crystals, and in 1991 Hong Kong X'tals Ltd. was established. Since then the global brand "HKC" gained wide recognition in the automotive, IoT, industrial and consumer electronics sectors. All manufacturing sites at Zibo, Qingdao and Shenzhen, China are QS9000 and TS16949 certified.
